Friendly staff and good food

Very long wait for drinks and food even though it wasn't busy. Food was good, but very small portions. Very bad price-performance ratio. Card payment was also not possible. The sanitary facilities were unclean. We won't stop here on our next bike tour.

Small portion and very long waiting time, price performance didn't fit.

I don't know what the economy is like, but the rooms are the bottom drawer. Every asylum seeker lives better !!! Breakfast was inedible and no choice. The rolls could be used to hammer in nails. Hard without end. Coffee was more water than coffee. Never a room there again !!!

Waiting time over 1 hour when the restaurant is empty. A meal was completely forgotten when asked snappy answer. Drinks and sauces were empty, nobody came for replenishment. You could hardly bite meat tough. Meanwhile all my guests had lost their appetite, nobody wanted a bedside table anymore. Once and never again.

Food was very good and the service saved everything with your brisk and nice manner! Unfortunately, there is an eternal wait when the restaurant is half full, over an hour. That is not how it works!

Formerly great food and great staff, lately bad value for money, mediocre food and unfriendly service

Good and cheap food and drink. The economy is getting a bit old. For refurbishment

The food is not so good, rather old-fashioned restaurant! Long waiting times and with the same dishes there are different sized portions!

Quite good but a visit to the nearby restaurant "grape" would be worthwhile in my opinion rather :)

We get our canteen dinner from there and I do not go there because of too many negative incidents. Therefore I will not visit or recommend the restaurant itself ....

Excursion into the 70s complacent? Then to the lion to Ellmendingen. Here time has stopped. At the weekend, most of the time, "societies" will come to eat as we do. As a result, there was only a small card. Not bad if you have it before and no vegetarians because on the menu was only meat. The food itself is good in some cases very good (a phenomenal potato salad as with grandma.) But I have eaten onion roast better, too little onions and the meat is a bit tough. Service is rather rustic, since you are served in the old manner, obs or not. All in all, okay but not more than three stars

I was excited. Since I'm a fan of old German food and love things like tripe and kidneys, I can only give five out of five. Rarely eaten so good kidney with fried potatoes! Except for Mum! ?

The food was ok, the service a disaster. Extremely long wait and very unfriendly operation. You can still cope with the waiting time, but we had to get up several times and look for the waitress. This unfriendly lady made a flippant saying after another. The owners should speak with your service staff urgently.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and accommodating. Because joke of the waiter you have to like :-) Overall, it is a good inn. The decor is more of a farmhouse style. The kitchen is hearty German, but of very good quality.

Cozy

A good middle-class restaurant. Rustic decor with fantastic food. The meat from the in-house butcher is tender as butter. The food was well presented, the service very friendly - what more could you want?
